Love Hate Relationship

It's been (and still is) a busy day for me today so I quickly snapped today's entry on my way to work this morning.

I have a love/hate relationship with cobblestones. On the one hand, I love them for their beauty and the history that they convey but, on the other hand, they're a bit of a bugger to negotiate when I'm wearing heels. So, if you see someone in red patent shoes tiptoeing her way across a cobbled road, it's most probably me!

Note - I played about with this photograph in Picasa to make it (hopefully) a little more interesting but somehow it just feels like cheating.
