Peace and a book

I find myself in a very rare situation, I am alone! I have to say I don't like my own company for long and get twitchy but sometimes it is a treat. I joined a book club at work and have the lastet book to get through. I joined to make me read more and to read stuff I wouldn't normal read. This is our third book none of which I would have chosen but I have enjoyed reading. All three very different which is great. The current book is called Shantaram and so far the hardest to read just in it is pretty thick and does take some concentrqating on as there is a lot of Indian names and words but also it is quite "high brow" as in the wording is intellectual. As I am far from that it is expanding my mind, again another reason I wanted to join the group.

The book is worth reading, the story is challenging, funny and sad and after reading a full day yesturday have only got half way through and I am not a slow reader normally! I won't tell the story as it is worth a read.

Anyway an off to plough through a bit more and see if I can demolish another chapter, trouble is once I start to read I hate to put the book down until I have finished it.

Just need a glass of wine to help!
