Water Claw

A walk up the stream to Blea Water and cut up to Mardale from the southern end of Haweswater. I don't wind getting soaked as long as my camera is safe, so I pretty much just scrambled up the whole thing. Out of all the photos I took today (mostly waterfalls) I thought this one had the most character.
For this shot I used my Tokina 11-16mm with a polarizing filter to rid the water of the white reflection it was giving off.
I got the inspiration for this shot from an old print of John Gravett's where there is a waterfall, which I and others believe to look like a wizard or Merlin's beard.
