Ron is off to show this beauty at a bike show nearby. The motor thingy is from the 1930's and 1940's, and is gorgeous even if I have no idea what any of it is. This has been the result of many years of hard work and dedication in Ron's spare time, as contrary to his appearance, he is not a Hell's Angel or anything. He is in real estate and I am pretty sure he is a musician as well. (Though I should recheck that one.)
He is also busy with a local bike shop, Two Old Bikers...which I think is a cool name.
This is a close up of the motor or whatever it is called.
edit: Ron informs me: The bike did well at the show. It was named the 2008 Southern Bike Night Magazine's bike of the year. It also won second place in best of show and second place in the chopper division. It will be featured in Southern Bike Night magazine and was photographed by Biker Magazine, which is a national publication ,as a potential feature.
It was a good day.
