Birthday pyromaniac

Here he is in all his glory - all 53 years of him.

The cake was made by his stepson - who can bake a mean white fruit and marzipan concoction not dissimilar to Simnel cake.

Oh, and the candles  jolly nearly said  HAPPY IRTHDAY because the B shot out of the package and lost itself in the kitchen..

PS He had a good birthday, and we'd all enjoyed it and I was just in the middle of posting this very picture when we were overtaken by the events of April 23rd (as blipped)
