at Loxahatchee wildlife refuge in upper Everglades, facing the rim canal. this is some kind of flood gate control, part of old army corps of engineers system to control water.
took a lot of shots, but all things that would look better on a nicer day- it was dark and cloudy, sprinkled on and off on us. at least the Jeep got to do some bumpy dirt roads and puddles and came home respectably muddy.
