Visioning & Appreciation

We both had unusual days today, me with time out from normal tasks to attend a 'visioning' meeting, and Andy was at a 'staff appreciation' day. His pat on the back was a $15 iTunes voucher to thank him for all his hard work this year... We couldn't work in more different places!

Tonight was fun, we could hear brass band music and spurred in by St Georges Day we went out to investigate. We eventually found the band outside the community centre, a band practice which had been taken outside on a nice warm evening. Not a St George's Cross in sight. We did bump into someone we knew (given we know maybe 10 people between us this was quite remarkable). It's nice, makes you feel more at home in a place.
