Delicate

My poor little D has a chest infection. So much of it going about it was only a matter of time before one of them succumbed, I guess. He's now on a course of antibiotics which will hopefully shift it quickly. Despite this, he slept right through the night so we're all feeling more refreshed today and he's all smiles.

This is A's second week in pre-school. Her first attempt at settling in was about a month ago and she came home saying the big boys pushed her so didn't want to go back. This time round there were a few of her nursery friends moving up so she tagged along and now wants to make the 'big girl' room her permanent residence. Her best friend, Ingrid, is also there and when they saw each other again there were squeals of delight and beaming faces aplenty. They even had a 'dance-off' in the playground in front of the rest of the class! I think A won - gets the moves from her mum, naturally.

It has continued to rain today so this is the blossom tree in the garden in between showers, didn't want to venture out any farther. I accidentally overexposed it but I actually prefer it to the 'correct' ones.
