Noisy duck.

We went to the park to see if any more Coot chicks had hatched. Mother Coot was sitting on the nest. Father Coot was bringing her food, but there was no sign of the three chicks that had already hatched.
We waited around to see if they would appear, but they were not there. They may have been under the mother, but I think they were rather big for that, so my husband went off to ask the Park Keeper. He said they would be around somewhere, but I'm not too sure. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they are OK.
This duck was making rather a lot of noise. I don't know if it was angry, or trying to call its mate, but it was certainly making a fuss.
