Survivor!

On our morning walk we passed this old gnarled apple tree covered in moss. The awful icy spell at the end of 2010 beginning of 2011 meant no blossom and no fruit last year. I assumed it had given up the ghost. This morning I noticed several green leaves emerging all over the tree. Here's hoping it blossoms and has fruit. Nature is extraordinary. !!!
