Yorkshire Sculpture Park

Met up with K this morning at YSP not far from the M1 near Barnsley in South Yorkshire. Currently there is an exhibition of work by the Spanish sculpture Miro, both inside the Long Gallery and in the park.

There are 500 acres of parkland with lakes and several permanent art exhibits and installations. Yes I took loads of shots, but have chosen this one as for me, it is the YSP. Sheep roam alongside visitors and use the sculptures to rest against and have a scratch.

The weather was good and we sat in the sunshine soaking up the views and putting the world to rights.
