Power

Having lived near to it for a number of years now, I'm becoming obsessed with the Ratcliffe on Soar power station. Not in a totally weird way, just in the way that whenever I'm out on my bike, I seem to look up and it's 'there'. I'm considering a photo project where I use numerous cameras and numerous locations to compile some sort of collection. It may sound (very?) strange, but the fact that you can see the power station from so many points brings to mind Silbury Hill down by Avebury, constructed to 'dominate' the landscape, as a visual demonstration of power. For me there's some sort of strange parallel to be had.....
