Quw'utsun' Cultural and Conference Centre

This morning I delivered our art work to the Quw'utsun' Centre. The Cowichan Valley Arts Council has its annual fine art show there. Tomorrow is the gala opening.

Cowichan Tribes built the center to promote their culture. The center is built on the banks of the Cowichan River using traditional post and beam construction and cedar.

While I was at the center, I walked the grounds in search of a blipfoto, one with a person in it. On the river side of the buildings, I heard a motor and then saw the man washing the sidewalk. This served as my blipfoto.
