Verdigris

A remnant of something on the Out Post of Cardiff University.

It's another University mystery. At first I thought it might have been for some sort of bell-push - but that would make no sense at all, especially on the way out. Perhaps there was a lamp there. There are some old images, but they shed no light on this.

I will have to enquire.
