Mixed Day

Rain this morning.
My attempts at getting patterns on the pond didn't really work out (too much vegitation I think).

Seemingly the Cygnet was up at the crack of dawn this morning and was a little shit fractious when we got round there.

We still took a chance and went out for coffee and cupcakes at a garden center with a friend.
Luck was with us and he was well behaved - enough for me to buy some smelly plants that he likes (rosemary, lemon thyme and lavender) and which will be planted in the empty space when the tree is finally out.
I gave up on doing any more cutting when the clouds started getting a bit threatening.

I am looking forward to the decent weather arriving so that I can use these on the Cygnet in the wy they are meant ...... loaded with water.
Yuck, yuck, yuck.
