Tuesday: Ghost Of A Former Hotel

I had to head out to Karlovac after work tonight for an evening function - it's about half an hour out of Zagreb.  The event was held in a local hotel which, you will be pleased to know, was in a much better state than this one.  The venue I was in, was a rebuild though after this original hotel went to rack and ruin, first in the war and then as a refugee shelter.

I had a much nicer photo than this but sadly I couldn't use it as it was from a work function.  It involved the local fencing club and local children who are very keen fencers, including one 12 year old who competes internationally.  The photo even had people in it - what was I thinking!  So it's back to buildings, I'm afraid.....
