Trying to be Arty

Me trying to get arty, well as best I can with my camera. It was a beautiful evening and I really wanted to go for a walk down the lakes but tea, mothers and huubies had other ideas so I had to make do with a tour round the garden. This is a rock we picked up of a river bed in the lakes and it sits out front with a piece of slate my son carved when he was little so both have memories for us. The water sits in the rock like tiny rock pools so it reminds me of the sea.

The next few days will be interesting and I guess I wont be able to upload my pictures until the week end. It is the 4th time I take my step dad to hospital for a knee replacement, we keep taking him and they keep sending him home saying they don't have enough beds! Poor old thing he is 81 in pain an has to go through all the buiold up of nerves to only be sent home. Well 4th time lucky lets hope he gets it over with this time. I will be mother sitting! She won't stay on her own so between me and my sis we are on call.

I do have atreat at the week end me and hub are off to the spa and night away for our birthdays (we are 10 days apart) so am looking forward to that.

So pictures will be taken inbetween madness but will be next week before I get them on I think, that is unless they cancel it AGAIN!
