Awe
All these rehearsals are having a toll on the quality of the blipping!
Rehearsals, for this weekend, are going well. The teaching is going well. It would just be nice to sleep. So this was a see-smile-stop-and-snap moment this morning. I just don't know how together I would be if I didn't drive through this wonderful places. Loch Awe is stunning in all it's moods. I never forget how fortunate to be so re-calibrated at the beginning and at the end of a day.
I posted this poem in the staff toilet. Well, it's the one haven of peace, where you have a brief moment to stop and think! I leave you with it:
What is this life if full of care
We have no time to stand and stare?
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep, or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this, if full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
