Bike Ride to the Beach

A beautiful day today but I couldn't get motivated to leave the house and enjoy the weather until the late afternoon. I finally took Shifty down to the beach and when I got there, it was so lovely that I had to take off my bike shoes and put my feet in the sand. I looked for shells and stones, enjoyed the sunshine, and took lots of photos before getting back on the bike for the climb back up the hill. On the way up, I saw my shadow which perfectly summed up the feeling of the afternoon so I braved the mobile-iphone-photo-while-cycling. I also saw an eagle flying above me but I wisely pulled over and stopped to try to photograph him.
