OUR STATE FLOWER IS A BLOOM'N

Before teeing off at Arizona National, I snapped a few of these beauties.
I figured I'd click more at the end of our round.
But, to my surprise the flowers were tucked in and some shriveled.
I figured they retracted from the heat.

Once home, I learned Saguaro flowers bloom for less than 24 hours.
They open at night an remain open through the next day.
A very short time to attract a pollinator.

Beauty comes and goes so quickly here.
Gotta be alert to catch it.

TOMORROW
Nmbr - 1 & I meet Blip Buddy, Chris.
He flew into Tucson today from Texas.
