With Nick and the children away, I spent the day catching up with some college work. The peace and quiet provided the perfect back drop for some reading and preparation for the week ahead. The last month or so have been so busy and full on and I'm finding it very difficult to switch off - I feel like I'm hot wired to my camera!! Took a little time out and pottered in the garden for half an hour, just looking. I found this leaf hanging from a spiders web and it reminded me (as did the very definite nip in the air) that autumn is arriving and any hope I had of those last lingering warm evenings has gone.
