Roadshow

The raffle prizes sit enticingly on the table, while ladies take our money, £1 a strip of five tickets. There's a Jubilee basket, and one full of locally produced food amongst others.
I went to a W.I. Roadshow today with a group of friends from our W.I., where we listened to interesting, well presented talks, looked at informative displays, watched demonstrations (e.g. tap dancing!) and found out more about our county activities.
Delicious cakes and coffee were served, of course, and everyone was, as usual, friendly and enthusiastic. A good way to spend ANOTHER wet day!
