Here's a picture of Matt Owen Rocket Man and artist (left) with Noah Rose (right) taken in Matts back yard in Peel, Isle of Man. Noah and I should actually have been back in Liverpool already, but Force 8 gales; a supposedly cancelled SeaCat Manannan; and some misinformation supplied from the Steam Packet Company means we are effectively marooned on the island now overnight.

Meantime, Matt's near completed, 17-feet high, clinker-built, timber rocket being built by him as part of his Arts Degree, is fast becoming the most tempting way to get us back home......but would it ever fly?

Thursday see Prince Charles and Camilla visiting Peel as part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, so wonder if the Rocket might feature in their itinerary?
