Gardeners Cottage .....

.... and Garden Cottage on the estate, two semi detached cottages at the entrance to Blair Drummond House.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find out any detail about the buildings but I cannot help but think that gardeners must have been very highly thought of to have been given such large cottages to live in.

In contrast the house now occupied by the land owner was the original Estate Manager's house and is what most people would call a mansion in it's own right and the land workers terraced cottages have one bedroom, living area and kitchen.

I was going to give this an olde worlde feel by posting it in sepia but thought the satelite dish was not quite in keeping!
