A place of solace amongst the waves

Actually it's more of a place of cocktails. This is Bagni Santa Chiara - one of the best bars on the Genova sea front that is still remaining obstinately closed. It only opens for the summer months when the weather has calmed down and warmed up a bit. I reckon we can only have a few weeks to wait now.

This bar is made extra awesome by the fact that you can't reach it by road. You can either find the unmarked route of tiny pathways that lead very steeply down to it or, while the tide is low, you can make your way around the precarious rocks. Simply getting there is an event in itself.
