Gnomes

These four 6" high pottery figures caught my eye while driving home along the back road. They were standing in the grass beside the drive to someone's house next to the house nameplate (the house's name has nothing whatsoever to do with gnomes either) and a clump of beautiful cowslips (which I also snapped). There were another 2 of them on the other side of the drive....?! No idea what they're doing there !?
