Mama seems to like daddy's taste, but do I??
Jake dressed her this morning and presented her proudly. The 5 sisters did have an impact...
Last night, Mia finally gave up entirely on her feeding schedule she learned at the nursery and thought it was fun to wake her mum every 1-2 hours to have a bit of a suck. And even more fun it was to repeat the story when mum finally had a moment to lie down in the afternoon. I've never been so tired in my life. But I'm sure all the parents amongst you just smile at the memory of pretty similar stories.
We did have a pretty good morning though. We attended a talk of a neonatal paediatrician who was just awesome (and not only because of his great sense of humour and engaging speech). If you need a present for a new parent and believe in common sense, avoiding unnecessary medication and lots of cuddling, get his book. I'm about to order it now: Dr Howard Chilton, Baby on Board: Understanding what your baby needs.
