the five year engagement

i got free passes to a screening in nyc for the upcoming movie the five year engagement. so skip & i headed into the city early, so we could snags some seats. we waited in line for almost two hours, but it was totally worth it!! we got a free popcorn & a drink. the movie was really good! perfect rom-com, with lots of emphasis on the com :D the members of the cast & creative team (jason segel, emily blunt, alison brie, kevin hart, rodney rothman, &, nick stoller) came out after to do a q&a. the cast was absolutely hilarious! at the end, one of the audience members actually proposed to his girlfriend, which was really cute.

when it was all over, we hurried out to catch the train back. the way that the building was set up was that the exit was up the street from the entrance. when we passed by the entrance of the theater, we saw alison brie (of community fame aka one my favorite shows) talking to fans, so we decided to go inside to meet her & hopefully a get picture with her. she was so sweet & funny, especially since the guy before us was pretty much talking nonsense. she's so adorable, beautiful, & perfect in real life. one of her "people" took a picture of us with her. i told her i was hoping for a season 4 pickup, & she thanked me & said they were hoping for it too! one of the best days ever!!
