Exploring in the fog
Today I was going into town to sort out some things with the city as I just moved here and have to sort things out within the first month. Since I'm studying now I don't get as much exercise as I did working at the post office, so I decided to walk instead of taking the bus. Printed out a map from Googlemaps to follow. That turned out to be a good idea. Could hardly see where I was going in the fog and I was happy to be able to compare the streetnames on the signs with the ones on the map.
I like to walk around instead of taking the bus. I believe it allows me to get to know the places better than if I'm just sitting in a bus daydreaming while someone else is finding the way. Ofc on the way home after also doing some grocery shopping I couldn't get a direct bus, so took one to the university and then another one back to where I live, and discovered another supermarket that I didn't know of before.
