Deserted Shop Front

Osmotherley has always been a favourite place of mine - for many years. A great place to walk from and to hang out in. I am passing so I do a quick walk up the hill and back again (I am due in Chester at 3.00 so it is quick).

There is a shop in the centre of Osmotherley. It was a working shop some years ago but has now stopped trading. The traditional shop front is empty apart from these forlorn figures, covered in cobwebs. It's a forlorn shop front. I wonder what happened to the woman who ran it?
