Last day in Sydney

I had a farewell breakie with a Livy and Dannie before heading to Penrith via dropping my big bag at a hostel in the city. Penrith is where my great Aunt and her family live. Unfortunately due to timing and a new great grandchild being born in Queensland I only got a very brief visit over. I spent the day with Babs who plied me with tea and sandwiches and I learnt all about the family who up until now were just an ever growing list of names in the christmas news letter. I was able to put names with faces via the wedding photos of all the grandchildren which adorned her lounge.

I can safely say I've got alot of catching up to do if my grandma is ever going to see a great grandchild from me......looking a long way off at the moment. In fairness the youngest granddaughter is 6 years older than me! They've had a massive head start!

So my fleeting visit to the suburbs came to a close, seeing my aunt and uncle they made me promise to come back to sydney in the coming years which I think will be hard not too with the welcome they have me, even only seeing them for 5 minutes!

Back in the city I'm currently camped out in a hostel next to the station ahead of my bus journey up the east coast in the morning.

Have to admit, having been away for over 5weeks now, today I got a proper sting of homesickness. (hence the blip) a can of diet girl flavoured man up should fix me :-)
