Some Days

Basskite Case

Kites used to be brown paper rhombuses tacked onto garden cane.

They hardly ever flew.

When they did fly they landed in a puddle and were ruined.

Things are quite different now.

Now they are allowed to get wet!

Don't know if it is worth viewing large, this really is not a good lens!

Quick blip at the beach after getting home with no shots in the bag. I have been working in the Health Spa garden this afternoon, making the most of the unexpected decent weather. I have decided not to take my camera in there because it makes some people uneasy. Taking some photos there of the mini-digger on my long lens (this one) last week, a man jumped out of a very big BMW car, waving his hands at me, and shouting "NO photos"!

"There is a person in the car who is 'known' and doesn't want any photographs", he explained. I was tempted to say that quite a lot of people know me, but I don't set the Rottweillers on photographers, but instead explained that I was taking work in progress shots of the ground levelling. He was OK with this, especially after noticing the Archerfield logo on my sweatshirt, but I put the camera away and the lady took herself off for her treatment.

I think I must be one of the few people to see Ms RB out and about without a police escort recently!

Either that or they have shaved an orang utan!
