Lift off.....

I finally managed to get some decent photographs of my elusive heron and this is my favorite.

Today has just been so wet and windy ..... this is in the south east of England where there is supposed to be a drought ..... this is the river in town just about to break it's banks!!!!

Hari and I got soaked dropping Tara at school and then waiting for his school to open, so I decided to pop along to the office and have a walk round the lake .... after all I coouldn't have got much wetter at that point ;0)

Talk about being it the right place at the right time....... not only did I manage to get loads of pictures of the heron that I've been trying to capture for months, but one of the pairs of geese have had loads of little ones and they were in the field too. Not to mention the ducks and swans as well. So it ended up as one of those rare and wonderful days when the problem was which of my favorite pictures to blip rather than what on earth shall I blip today ;0)

And for anyone inferested in Hari's progress he managed nearly 2 days with no accidents at all, and then this afternoon deliberately (yes I do mean deliberately!!) wet himself 3 times in 2 hours because he wanted to wear different pants!!
