Hailstones

Just before I left work there was a torrential hailstorm; the sky turned black and the noise of the hail pelting on the roof was incredible.

By the time I arrived home, the skies had cleared and the hail had stopped, so I took the opportunity to dash back into the front garden to get some close ups of the hailstones that littered the lawn.
