Japanese Kimonos

Here is an illustration from a nineteenth century book on display at Edinburgh University Library's exhibition called Masterpieces II. It was by Ry?shi Mut? and entitled, Moy? hinagata Nanba no ume. The exhibit is called "High fashion in Japan".

Masterpieces II is on until 30th June at the Main Library in George Square. The exhibition questions what masterpieces are. Well worth the visit :o)
