This is Oxford
this afternoon from the top of the 13th century Carfax Tower.
At last! The sun came out around 3pm so I took the 15 minute bus ride into the city. The climb of 99 steps was worth it but it was incredibly windy at the top!
Carfax means "four-forked" or a place where four roads meet. You can see why! If you prefer a more traditional "dreaming spires" view of Oxford there are some here but be forewarned: they also include cranes, scaffolding and more!
