spring hanging on by a thread

Nothing short of a winter's day today, but the apple in blossom is hanging on in there. El had a lovely play-date this afternoon, I ran after tea but still struggling with the wall in my head, and N headed to the inaugural bible study group we have become part of. The baby boy is choked with the cold again, and is coughing his heart out :(
