Leaves

I'm still recovering from Tuesday's marathon working in the garden. The beds are ready for planting, but really, it's still too cold at night for most things here so we haven't set anything out yet. You can put in tomatoes, but they just hang out looking sorry for each other for weeks and the fruit doesn't come any earlier. It's just hard to hold off: the dirt looks so soft and dark and inviting. This may force my hand: we are getting a couple dozen fish heads from a friend this weekend for fertilizer, and I may have underestimated the space I have in my freezer.
