Birdie

Something odd has happened to me.

On Anzac day I decided I'd clean out one kitchen cupboard. Next thing I knew I was clearning the whole kitchen out and wasn't going anywhere until I was done!

Now I find myself interested in all sorts of places I never normally venture, with enthusiasm to empty drawers, throw stuff out and clean the hidden places.

Very odd.

It's like some internal switch has flicked. It must be a strange side effect of being bitten by that spider because I didn't feel this way before.

I raised my head just to see the last of the light and this little fella on his way home.
