Puddles...

...large ones! Huge patches of water on the Stray after the almost continual rain of yesterday.

Seems as though Mr & Mrs Mallard have chosen this spot to nest. By the time I left she had gone to sleep as he kept watch nearby. Sad really, as the water will disappear and they will not survive there. If they did, the ducklings will have to walk a mile through the town to water!
