Mysterious head-shaped lapis lazuli

Here is my new lapis lazuli shot. I do think it's some improvement over yesterday's, but I'm still not particularly happy with it. Surely it can't be too hard to take the perfect rock picture. The picture is somewhat spoilt for me now that I see it forms a pretty good (dog? elephant?) head shape.
