Happy New Year

I have just enough time to sneak another back blip in and it's fitting that it is one that lets go of the past year and welcomes in the new. Both Sam and Rowan were with friends, so Nick, Murron and I cooked a lovely meal before spending the evening together playing games and watching a film. Murron put on her new dress and I put on some very loud music (Coldplay) and we danced the new year in. We could see the fireworks in Edinburgh from the window and toasted each other with Port (Nick), Creme de Cassis (me - a nod to my french family) and fruit juice (Murron).

I know it's a little late but Happy New Year anyway. Even in April I hope that your year is shaping up to be a good one. If there's one thing I have learnt over the past couple of years it's that it will only be as good as you make it x
