Permission to land?

I took dad to the Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney today, primarily to see the fruitbats but then we went and sat on a lawn where there appeared to be an abundance of cockatoos!

One man even had one on his arm, so we thought maybe there was a demonstration going on or something!

No, turned out to be greedy birds and a man with a box of bird seed!!

Not to be outdone, I got some crisps out of my bag and offered them up (pretty much as a cockatoo whisperer would) and it worked!! Dad had three on his head/shoulders at one point!! Hilarious!

Not sure if you're supposed to feed the birds, but they certainly seemed to like the Vintage cheddar and red onion flavoured ones!
