Project Pride: Nelson

Last year young women from Nelson in Lancashire explored their local heritage with a community artist. Inspired by the industrial heritage of cotton mills, they decided to decorate a dress with images and phrases. It was particularly exciting to learn about strident socialist Selina Cooper who fought passionately for women's rights. Can you spot her on the skirt, demanding votes for women?
