bye bye granny....love you!

My poor Mum was due to have Arlo last weekend, however she was struck down with a really horrible sounding cold. She was still up for taking him but the thought of Arlo getting his first cold while we were on holiday was just not on....

So, she's gutted to be missing out on 2 weeks of Arlo so I thought I'd back blip a bit so she can be sated on some level.

Today, we go on holiday. Bonny Glasgow for a night and then Toasty Spain. I'm a bit nervous about going away with Arlo - the flight, the heat but it has to be done and the quicker we go on this holiday, the quicker 'the first time' will be over and done with and we'll be experienced travellers.

As you who have children know, organising your baby's stuff for holiday is no mean feat. Every single eventuality has to be covered and so, it's just fortunate I am anally psychotic when it comes to organisation and lists. Yes, it's true. If there is such a thing as being psychotic in your anus.

Anyway - that's disgusting so let's get off that thought.

I have 3 books with me (and Bry is taking one too) which I am pretty sure I will not get through, but I'm going to give it my best shot. I have a book from the Mighty Scobes (thank you thank you thank you) and another couple. And I have 8 bottles of sun cream.

Anyway, better go as I have a wriggly baby on my knee and 800 things to squeeze into my suitcase!
