Armed Forces Charities

Down at The Civic Centre today to sign the College's commitment to honour the Armed Forces Community Covenant, recognising their obligation to provide public and commercial services. It's a two way process and also aims to ensure that Service personnel are not, due to the transient nature of their military employment, disadvantaged in the provision of the usual entitlements and support statutory services.

This is Sergeant Jordan Jack and Corporal Ryan Kelly who attended the event. Ryan, on the right, is a former West Lothian College student who completed our Preparation for Uniformed Services course before signing up. Great to witness the success of one of our learners.
