Blue season.

After the yellows of early spring bring us with a jolt out of winter and really cheered us up.
We now find we're in the blue / mauve season .
The Irises and tulips and lilacs and bluebells , and many more.
I find it a softer look to the garden and landscape
What ever the seasonal flowers I like to put some on the kitchen mantelpiece in lots of little vases, it reminds me always of the wonder of the seasons.
