Favourites

This is a picture of one of our favourite family teas being cooked, turkey burgers. Its been a fave since we had it first about 5 years ago and remains on the menu, although we never have the same thing more than once in a month. They are handmade with turkey mince, onions, stale breadcrumbs, an egg and a few spices to a recipe of my wife's which has been in her family since the day she met me . Usually we have it with baked potatoes, fresh coleslaw and cheese, but tonight it was just with a few chips. Just looking at them makes me feel hungry all over again.

Had man flu today, passed on to me I think from my wife who has had a cold since we came back from Ludlow a few weeks back. It looks like after sleeping all afternoon I may have gotten over it fortunately. Roll on the weekend.
