Waiting for the sand martins
Today's blip is the cliff cross-section revealed by erosion. Fascinating geology but what excites me is all these holes which apparently provide nests to sand martins soon. I think some of them are exposed old rabbit warrens, too, but may be wrong. (This view also reminds me of the approach to Santorini and all the homes carved out of the cliffs.)
I'm glad to have this as spent the day weeding and picking up our wedding rings - and amazingly it didn't rain here at all. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. Have a good evening everyone and will try to catch up on comments tomorrow.
