Powerful Purple

This is one of those days the garden hasn't got that much to offer to the eye - or the eye won't get past the superficial into the great detail or the grand views.

I stroll around with the Nikon around my neck. A purple tulip catches my attention. It is one of many that I planted in the border of the Long Walk. These flowers took a bit long to flower which I planted too late are now in full bloom. Their colors are gorgeous!

I'm now capturing in RAW format and experimenting in Lightroom to see what I can do with the capture. This is really amazing! True image wizardry! Where there was darkness, one can create light. Where there are no colors, one can create them. What bother me, though, is where the line between capturing the real and creating the artificial is crosses (and wether thát matters)
